Swollen lymph nodes under jaw and cold sores on mouth

I noticed the cold sore forming the right side of my mouth the night before last, then yesterday, the swollen lymph node on the right side which is the side of the 1st cold sore. The oddly enough, another cold sore broke out which was on the left side, and another swollen lymph node on the left side???
Is this allergy related or cold/flu?
