What am I forgetting?

Oh yea, the Little Mans birthday! His birthday is July 9th and that's just a little over a month away. With all the Disney planning I forgot that his birthday is coming up. We'll be away for two weeks so that leaves me just two weeks to plan something when we return. Yea right, that will NEVER work. Especially not with all of his food allergies. So today I went to the first place I thought of and booked it. It's an "educational toy store" and they will do crafts and let the kids play with all the toys and the "big" craft is that they get to paint a box car and tanker car that goes with the Thomas the Tank Engine wooden train set. Now I'll just have to come up food ideas. Um, my brain hurts from all this "food thinking".

I didn't REALLY forget about his birthday. I just put it on the back burner and let it get down to the wire to plan something. Then my mother and sister in law started asking me what day I was planning it and I really couldn't answer because, well, I hadn't. So I planned it. And mom and Danielle, I'll let you know what's going on because you guys will be celebrating on a different day. The "friend party" is at the toy store. The family party will be at the house. Yay, more food ideas. Somebody shoot me please.

I also went clothes shopping today, grocery shopping (at 2 stores), dropped/picked older boy at school, wrote a nasty letter to our local paper about a neighboring municipality(don't ask, it was totally warranted and my husband and neighbors applauded me), took the boys to get hair cuts and now I need to make dinner. While cooking dinner maybe I can scan my food allergy archives for some party food ideas. Somebody shoot me please....



***Edited to add that I called the Dermatologist today to make an appointment about that rash: the one the doctor referred me to was having computer problems and I'll have to call back. I called my husbands and got an appointment... in DECEMBER. Gee, thanks.
