Is Klonopin an anticholinergic drug?

<>No. It is a benzodiazepine. It essentially does not have any anticholinergic activity. It works on GABA or gamma aminobutyric acid, an abundant neurotrnamitter in the brain. Some common uses are for  anxiety and sleep and also can be used a muscle relaxant.

<>When not used or monitored properly, it has a significant potential for abuse and dependency. It is in the same class of meds as valium, librium, xanax, serax, ativan.
