My condolence for your loss, Bonnieg.

Even if there was no previous history of anxiety, it would not surprising if you were struggling in coping the loss of your partner and a young

baby.

Most new instances of depression and anxiety begin within a year or so of a significant life changing event. These include bereavement, the birth

of a child (especially if it is the first), divorce, moving house, and job loss. There is also the additional risk of postpartum depression. So

even without your past anxiety issues there are at least two factors pointing to a high risk of developing an anxiety disorder and/or depression.

I urge you to discuss your situation with a doctor. On the assumption you live in the U.S., you may find the information at http://msmonarchdancer.googlepages.com of interest,  particularly the 'how to get free or low cost treatment(usonly)' page.

Best wishes

Ian
