The party was a success - lots of fun and food. Larbs (a.k.a. Laura) and Matt leave on Tuesday for Boston with a big U-Haul. I’m hoping to visit in August with a frequent flyer ticket when summer school is over.
Brew #1- Sam Adams in honor of Boston!

Appetizer spreadwith chips + dip, kielbasa, and crackers with hot pepper jelly cream cheese. I nibbled way too much - I had 2 kielbasa, about 5 chips (no dip) and about 5 crackers with jelly.

A cracker -

Brew #2.I had a few sips of other kinds and the keg throughout the rest of the night too, but nothing of significance.

The keg -Magic Hat
It’s now dry.

The"Well House"that used to hold…well, a well!

Dad grills -

Lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, avocado and a juicy burger on a whole wheat bun. I’ve been craving one of my dad’s hamburgers for a while now and this one hit the spot.

Hamburger, spinach saladwith goat cheese + almonds (we made that!) andfruit salad. I hadsecondson the salads - just a tiny bit more of each.

I’ve been looking forward to this all week:

End piece= lots of icing!! Plus a sliver of fruit tart.

No, one piece was justnotenough.

And I hate to say Inibbledon another piece as we were putting it away…
Squiggly Line…
I definitely ate too much tonight, but this isexactlywhy I eat less during the weeks and when I’m home and busy and there’s nothing exciting going on. After a night like this there’s no guilt because it just takes a few days of healthy eating to be right back on track. I’m glad I was able to fully enjoy a little of everything. I just hope I don’t have a sugar hangover again! I’m not really that full (because everything was spread out over a few hours) so I think I’ll be fine.
I was able to get 1.5 hours of Chem test done and have just a few tweaks on problems to go. Tomorrow’s going to be slam-packed with traveling, studying, prepping for the week, and hopefully a visit to the symphony again. Gotta carpe diem with the symphony now because there are only a few weeks left!
