Herbs for health!

I have been reading this cool pamphlet that I ordered from Celestial Seasonings, chock full of advice and great recipes (white chocolate ?chamomile tea - banana bread!). One of the more instructive parts is the section that names several of the most common herbs in their and other tea blends, along with their healing properties.
Peppermint is named as being a natural relaxer and soother. Chamomile has comforting and soothing properties. Rosehips are a great source of Vitamin C and might work in supporting the kidneys. Hibiscus might be a good way to maintain a healthy blood pressure. Blackberry leaves are a source of anti-oxidants and have been known historically for stomach remedies. Hawthorn berries are said to help with cardiovascular health and helps with pesky water retention. Lemongrass assists the digestive system.
The tea company suggests using the bags when boiling food such as pasta or vegetables - like making an herb broth? how clever!
