You Rock!! That is so great Angie...competing against yourself is the best kind of competition. 20 pounds does sound like a lot! I injured my shoulder doing military presses quite awhile ago and it seemed like forever until it didn't still act up here and there. Since then I heard that you shouldn't lift much weight with your shoulders. I don't really know what that means as I'm sure it is different for everyone. Just lift safe! Shoulders injuries are a pain! (I am sure you are quite capable; I just wanted to share that story and pass on what I've learned :)

The whole time I did the FYM workouts, I just couldn’t bring myself to increase them from the 15lbs I had been doing. It actually didn’t seem to get any easier, so I didn’t think I was ready. Until TODAY!!
Today I did my first set with the 15’s, only 8 repetitions, but what was planned. I thought to myself, “that wasn’t that hard-maybe I can try the 20’s”. So I picked up the 20’s and did 2 more sets of 8 repetitions! Granted the last 3 repetitions of the last set was a big rough, but I did it! And with great form!
I have also increased my incline press to 25lbs and rows to 25 lbs. I am slowly getting there, but honestly never thought I would be using those heavy of weights! It’s so exhilarating!

PS…it’s day 4 of no coffee!
