Hi my name is Lori. I have a chronic muscle disease I have to deal w/everyday. I know (I've been told stretching is so important to keep range of motion and to prevent contractures.) I have spasticity - this is ridgidity of the muscles (mostly my thigh muscles and I have a very tight heelcord. I do stretch, but not nearly enough. Stretching is not hard, but why does it seem easier said than done?)

Hello Lori,
Sorry to hear about your muscle disease. It must be very difficult for you to strecth daily. I wake up very stiff, the only thing that helps is stretching. When I get a flare-up from fibromyalgia it is even harder. Most people think just lying in bed will help the pain, but honestly, we have to move.
You will be in my prayers and thoughts:)
Viv
Thanks Viv, prayers always help...I'll take as many as I can:) My prayers are with you as well. If you're intersted, I have a blog called PERSEVERE...the URL is persevere-lori.blogspot.com
God bless!
