Oh, I forgot the last part of the title " Among College Students"
After that shocking study I'm sure Gene will be even more freaked out that I drink a Rockstar or Full Throttle on nights I work. However. The study doesn't say until the very end that they actually believe the common factor in the study to be that A) the people in the study were all college-aged males, and that B) the thing that ties the whole group together isn't that they drink energy drinks so therefore they act stupid, but that they are in fact college males who tend act stupid so they tend to gravitate towards the image and the retarded belief that the energy drink will offset the effects of alcohol.
The study says nothing about my demographic, the constantly exhausted middle-aged women who re-entered the work force on the 12 hour night shift plan. We're fine. The only risky behavior we indulge in is forgetting to close the garage door when we drag our weary asses into the house and fall directly into bed at 7:15am.
