Global Warming and the Destruction of the Sea

San Francisco Chiropractor Comments:

Images[3] There exists a point of balance where modern man and our environment can co-exists in harmony.

But after reading the article entitled A sea of troubles   from the Dec 30, 2008 issue of The Economist magazine, it seems like we have some serious work to do.

I am shocked at what I just read. There is actually scientific evidence that corral reefs, considered the rainforests of the sea...may be gone in a couple of decades. The chain reaction from this will be catastrophic.

Closer to home in San Francisco, the lack of rain (global warming?) and 100+ years of development and interference from man, is now threatening Marin County's Coho Salmon population.

I believe in this stuff as I know our new president does....hopefully we will see some changes soon.

We are trying to do our part at Executive Express Chiropractic in downtown San Francisco. The new clinic we built from scratch at the Embarcadero Center, was built 100% Green. Sure, it costs a whole lot more to do it this way...but by doing so we reduce our carbon footprint and make for a healthier context for our patients, staff, and environment.

Dr. Eben Davis is clinic director of Executive Express Chiropractic and can be reached atebendavis@yahoo.comor 415-392-2225.
