San Rafael-Spinal Decompression Center treats Disk Herniations, Disk Bulges, Facet Syndrome, and Failed Back Surgery Syndromes, Non-Surgically with the DRX 9000.
We chose San Rafael as the location for our new disk pain clinic satellite location because it is right in the center of Marin County. We wanted something right off the freeway with plenty of free parking. We also wanted something on the ground level so patients that are in a lot of pain would not have to walk very far. In addition, we had to have some nice views. This was not easy to find, so it took a while. But, it was worth the wait. We got exactly what we wanted.
The clinic is also directly across from the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, where we plan to hold workshops and seminars. The clinic is run by Dr. Lisa Craigs, D.C. We will only see between 8-10 patients per day so that each patient receives plenty of attention. Each patient appointment is one hour. Spinal decompression therapy is a nonsurgical option for the treatment of chronic, degenerative spinal conditions such as disk bulges, disk herniations, degenerative disk disease (DDD), spinal stenosis, and facet syndrome. Some of our patients have even had surgery. As long as there are no metal or screws (surgical fusion) in the spine we can usually perform decompression. There are other contraindications such as cancer or infection of the spine. Or recent fracture. We use MRI, CT Scan, or x-ray in conjunction with case history and physical exam to determine which cases can be accepted. Decompression does not help everyone, but the success rates are very favorable, especially when you consider the risks of drugs or surgery. If you are interested in finding out if you are a candidate for decompression therapy, please call 415-392-2225 or click here to schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our doctors.
