My lefy arm went numb and afterward I lost much strength and eventually a muscle dissappeared. 9 months later it started to happ

Last December my left arm suddenly went numb. When the numbness left it was weaker. After about two months a muscle was gone. Four days ago it started to happen again and the arm is deteriorating rapidly. I can barely lift a bottle to my lips and worst motion is to lift my arm across my body as to wash under opposite arm. What's going on and what are my options?
