San Francisco Low Back Pain Treatment

Images[9] I think low back pain is the #2 reason patients go to the doctor for musculoskeletal pain...headaches is #1. Low back pain is certainly the most common condition we see at  Executive Express Chiropractic in downtown SF...then neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel, and upper back and shoulder pain.

There are many ways to treat low back pain. There are pain medications, muscle relaxers, and anti-inflammatory pills and shots (cortisone). There is physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, rolfing, exercise, psychotherapy, and chiropractic. And there are thousands of gimmick therapies and pieces of equipment...as well as magic potions, lotions, and goose grease.

So how do you choose? Well...fortunately...chiropractic (in my opinion) seems to get the best results when it comes to chronic or acute low back pain. At least that's what our San Francisco low back pain patients tell us. Many have tried everything under the sun. Some just did a little research online or talked to some friends and came straight to us.

But here's the deal...even the unique brand of modern chiropractic that we do at Executive Express wont help everyone. I would say maybe 10-15% of the SF low back pain patients we treat need more (or something different) than chiropractic, ART, Graston, massage and exercise.

For these patients we have a next step... nonsurgical spinal decompression. Decompression therapy is a very advanced method of reducing disc bulges and disc herniations without drugs or surgery. The spinal decompression machine we have treats cervical and lumbar neurovascular compression syndromes and costs $150,000.

The treatment protocols are 15-30 visits and costs around $4500-$7000. So we can handle cases that previously we would refer out for possible surgery. Sure spinal decompression does not help everyone either...but success rates are impressive. Check out the Spinal Decompression Special Report.

So when it comes to treating low back pain in San Francisco... Executive Express Chiropractic stands tall...we can even validate parking at the downtown Embarcadero Center which is where we are located.
