What's the cause of swollen nodules in the groin after bicycle riding?

I've got a swollen nodule in my groin (top of the leg) after a short (25 mile) uphill and downhill bike ride.
This comes after 2 days of riding back and forth to work, about 5 miles each way, downhill in the Am, uphill in the PM.
The node has increased in size after these 3 days of riding. Any chance it's an infected lymph node, or perhaps a cyst or boil?
