Parkinson’s Disease is often misunderstood. Often those who watch us feel sorry for us in such a way that they think our life is over. What they don’t realize is that while many of us may not be able to do everything we used to do all of the time, we can do somethings, some of the time.
What do you love to do? What do you refuse to give up on? Maybe you have to take a little more time, but you can do it!
Do you paint? Sew? Knit? Work with wood? Swim? Run? Hike? Bungee jump? Skydive? Drive race cars? Play the bagpipes? Paint barns? Make cards? Sing? Wrestle? Dance? Shoot arrows? Hunt Bigfoot?
Let us know - tell us your story. We’d love to encourage the world of PD’ers with how you refuse to let PD have you.
