You'll probably recognise this cute face from all the pictures I reposted over the weekend.
This is Miles Taylor, the son of good friends from college/university. His parents - Bryce and
Christina - were some of our few friends who got to meet Joshua and hold him, before he went home. They've spent a lot of time praying for our family - I know they have.
And now it's my turn to pray for them.
I don't know the particulars just yet, but little Miles was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes over the weekend. As far as I know he wasn't having any particular health difficulties, but was in the hospital over the weekend either during or after his diagnosis.
Please pray for Bryce, Christina, Miles, and his little brother Levi while they all adjust to the newness of Miles' condition. From what I gather, he'll be taking four shots of insulin a day, along with all the necessary finger pricking. I can only imagine what it's like to dofinger pricks for a 3 year old... Christina told me that several months ago Miles got pink eye and it was a hair-raiser getting the eyedrops in.
