Nose bleeds with hypothalamic hamartoma

My daughter has a hypothalamic harmartoma diagnosed about a year ago. She will be six soon. When she was 3, she had posterior nose nose bleeds and the surgery to correct them. Now she is having the nose bleeds again. Are these two related? I can't get an answer from my doctors.
