I have had a lifelong love affair with
books.
But, the publishing industry today is so intent on selling books I wonder if they are really looking for good writers. Nothing is more aggravating to me than to see a James Patterson book with another co-writer. It makes me think that a lot of these books that are written by so-called Big Name Authors are really ghost written.
Some of them are so bad, I think a real ghost (if there is such a thing) could do a better job.
The other night I was watching Keith Obermann and in passing he said something to the effect that there are so many people out there writing junk these days that the pearls may be lost among it.
I wonder often about that as well.
How about you?
