what is this and did the doctors give right diagnosis?what is the treatment now for this condition.?

my sister has  had problems with her thyroid and as a result had a 1/3 thyroid removal surgery. thyroid function tests were done and she was ok. then she had persistent headaches that had pressure pushing down to her eyes as they popped out and to her nosal area too. the doctors said she had intracranial pressure and had millions of lumbarpunctures done. she revisited the doctors and they later discovered after an MRI that she had some calcification in the brain that seems to have been growing for the past years. a physician did tests on her and discovered that her parathyroids were misbehaving although the thyroid levels were ok. she has flactuating pottasium and calcium levels.
