What major actions needs to be taken in 19X13 MM Acute Hemorrhage ?

Hi all,
My grandfather who is more then anything to me got a Pralytic attack. CT Scan report is saying that he is having 19X13 MM Acute Hemorrage in left Phalamo capsular region.
He is 76 years old. Pl. suggest whether we need to go for MRI Scan or for any Operation to remove Blood Clott. At present my docter is giving Medicines to Desolve the Blood Clot and to Keep the Blood presure Normal.
I Really appriciate all the Suggestions on the same.
