Justin and I are beginning the process of growing our family through surrogacy. In starting our search for a surrogate agency, we are looking at the experiences of others who have done so, and tips for financing this incredibly expensive process. Sadly, because of my hysterectomy, it will cost us well more than $50,000.00 to have another child.
On top of the sadness we have suffered, this is mind-boggling, but necessary for us to maintain the forward momentum and love in our lives that began with Vivienne. We have discussed over months, cried, shared our feelings, and wavered between surrogacy and adoption. We know that our purpose in life is as parents, and we know we must honor Vivi by allowing her to be a big sister, even from Heaven.
