liver and brian cancer

My wife has brian and liver cancer. They can`t find the primary source. She had 1 dose of radiation on her liver and 10 on her brain. She was diagnosed in April and they told us then that she is terminal. She seems to be going down hill more each day now. What can I expect in terms of what will happen to her mind and body and what kind of time line are we looking at?
