Being woken up to a heel-stick blood draw is NEVER nice, but our clever little teddy bear didn't make a peep because Mommy held her Hamzilla and binked her. Little Bear knew Mama would get her a Ba after, AND MOMMY DID! While enjoying her whole, nice Ba, the docs came in for rounds and were positively thrilled with how things are going. No fever, vomiting, pain for the last 24 hours!! Big smiles all around. We expect to be discharged and sent over to St. Jude tomorrow. After the Ba, our tired little teddy bear went to sleep while Mama went for coffee. Now, there will be a quick listen to Teddy Bear Picnic (a fave of Mom and Vivi), a diaper change, and ANOTHER BA. Oh heaven!
The docs promised the monitors come off today, and we will see how she does. That means more fun things in store, like watching Sesame while being rocked in her stroller.
I said a prayer this morning, thanking God for my daughter's health and well-being today, and asking Him to notice all those who prayed for her, their generosity and love.
