Well, on Friday November 28 Vivienne began Round 4 of Induction Therapy, with her last 24 hour dose of methotrexate. We had a slight panic in that about three hours before the infusion was scheduled to end, her levels were through the roof. The pharmacist says she begins to get worried at 140; Vivienne's tested at 150 and were 180 on re-test. The infusion was stopped, and today Vivi's levels are recovering appropriately.
The other piece of semi-bad news is that Vivi once again has a
positive C. diff culture. We anticipate getting released to isolation at Grizzlies House tomorrow, and have no idea how long we will be there. It's frustrating, but we are going to try to make the best of it by grabbing a bunch of movies, stocking up on comforts and enjoying it as best we can.
