For the past many weeks, I have had an alarm set for 7am to wake up and give Vivienne her medicine, and take care of her morning needs. Last night, before bed, I canceled that alarm, thinking sleep would be important for my body now. Today, I woke up at 7:08am anyway, had a quick panic attack that I was going to be late on medicine, and then remembered.
Well, Vivienne - you hated your medicine, so I hope you are a happy girl to not have to take it anymore. And my dearest, you hated morning diaper changes, they were mere botheration delaying the onset of the one morning ritual you loved - snuggling with a ba to watch Howard Stern. Now I am not sure that they permit Howard Stern in Heaven, but I am SURE that Elmo is permitted. And besides, who needs Howard Stern when you have Caitlin to teach you how to ride Maggie May, and Greatnana and Uncle Tim to watch carefully over you.
