Hey Chef Jeff,

I know the contest is pretty silly, but I would love to win Wellsphere's Health Blogger Award

I would appreciate it if you could <a href="http://www.wellsphere.com/voteBlogger.s?bloggerId=92707">cast a vote for me.</a>

It might even boost your good karma.

Hey Jeff!

I was worried because I don't see you at the gym. But now I know you continue on your good path.

Great job!

Alejandra

Jeff, Congrats on your long term success. You really show how it is possible to lose the weight if you just set your mind to it and follow your own plan. Now that you are on the brink of achieving your goal of 200lbs, are you going to set another? Cheers, Geoff

Hi Chef Jeff!  I haven't forgotten - just got too caught up with work and a move.  What do you think about a having a simple and healthy dinner/meal demo that takes advantage of some of the produce we're getting from the Friday produce stand?  I've seen dining services pull out grills for special events - perhaps kabobs?  it would be a great way to promote the market while teaching people (like me) what to do with the produce they buy.  Speaking of which, I still need to find something to do with those beautiful leeks I bought last week!

I participated in a CSA a couple of years ago and ended up giving away much of the produce that I didn't know how to prepare.  I didn't know what would be in the weekly box in advance and didn't have time to seek out recipes fast enough to use it all.  Having cooking/food prep demos periodically over the summer could encourage people to try out some of the less commonly seen veggies and perhaps help the farmers promote their CSA programs (community supported agriculture).
