So, given that we're
still undecided on whether or not to go ahead with Stella's frenectomy (cons : she'll have to be put under for something that, at the minimum, may not be necessary and, at the worst, could cause additional tongue thrust) I've contacted another SLP for a second opinion. She's hooked up with another SLP who is in our area and who happened to go to college with us. Funny, no?! So, we may end up meeting with
both SLPs. I am also open to switching SLPs at this point if one of them would be considered "in network" with our insurance. Man, that's a
major pain and expense!!
