The replacement parts for the swing arrived yesterday. Thank GOD! For some reason it just hadn't really been working right every since we put it back together (before S was born). We went thru a ton of batteries and it just never seemed to really get up to speed, so I called Fisher Price and they said it was likely the motor and sent us a new one (to the tune of $45 which ain't cheap but is a. less than a whole new swing and b. worth the cost for our sanity). We got it all hooked back up last night and S has spent tons of glorious non-crying, snoozing, peaceful hours in it already. :-) YAY!
