Okay, so I have four days to figure this out, LOL! Calling all the internets....right now S is all BM all the time.
With Audrey, I just poured cow's milk in a straw cup on her first birthday and only nursed to relieve engorgement (so maybe a few times).
I am worried that things won't be so smooth with The Babe.
1. She doesn't drink from a straw cup. She's not really even that adapt at a sippy (and I'm not interested in spending a lot of time
teaching her a sippy.
2. She's only eating jarred/soft food (meaning things I give her on a spoon). At this stage, Audrey was eating everything. So, I worry that her caloric intake will drop by going to cow's milk.
My questions:
1. Any suggestions?
2. If we are able to go just to cow's milk, is that enough calories (she's eating 3 jars of food/day)?
Right now I am thinking I'm going to try giving her the amount of milk they recommend she receive from a cup. That will be the best for her oral/motor~wise. Other than that, I'm guessing I'll just have to feel it out as we go through it.
