Hi hopeful,
well, as these symptoms are new for you, it may just be that you have overdone it more than you think starting back at work, or you have a virus or something. I think you will just have to wait and see...
I have not had the recurrent sore throats that many with CFS do have, although my lymph nodes in my neck are usually swollen and painful. I do have a lot of muscular pain and have had throughout my illness, As well as pain in upper back and shoulders, neck, jaw joint, which i am unsure if it is joint or muscle pain. Many people with CFS (or ME as i prefer to call it, as i am in the UK) have a lot of problems with their muscles. Mine tire very easily and lose power quickly when doing a repetetive movement, and they often ache. Some, like my thighs and upper back muscles seem constantly tired, painful and weak, as they are usually at work i suppose, although others are less affected, like arms.
i hope that these symptoms ease for you but i would take it as a warning that you may be overdoing it and rest as much as possible, if you did not have these problems before. It may be that at work you are moving differently than you were before and therefore your muscles are readjusting?
best wishes anyway,
ashy
Thank you for the info,it was helpful. If you don't mind can I ask if you are you still able to work?
Best regards

CFS for a couple years ,have just returned to work and the above are new syptoms(x1 wk).I want to know if the trend is do these typically stay with you or do they frequently go into remission. My fatigue ,impaired concentration, brain fog have been persistent for 2 years. I know everyones symptoms vary but would be helpful to know what others have experienced re: symptoms of pain and sore throat on a regular basis or intermittent.
