Can a pinched nerve or herniated disk be dagerous if not treated?

Probably not. My husband, who was a radiologist, used to tell me that most disc problems would resolve by themselves over time, either by fusing or my going back.  In fact, many people have herniated discs and feel no pain.  It's the pain that drives people to treatment. That and impatience.  It's the American way to fi things immediately.
