Can dryness in the upper abdomen cause sharp pain?

My daughter have several medical conditions: Fibromyalgia, Sjogren Syndrome and Colitis. She has been having sharp persistent upper abdominal pain and ribs(both sides) pain, spinal pain....she is bended forward unable to stand straight, and heels and hips pain. This pain has been on for quite some time now...about 3 months. The GI doctor have done an MRI of the head because she is also having tingling and numbness of the hands. The MRI came "normal". I know S.S. does cause dryness, Can the pain in the upper abdomen be caused by dryness? What tests can be done to check that out?
