Hugging the Coast is a delightful blog for the foodie, providing industry news and recipes that are sure to please. News such as the James Beard Awards provide ideas of dining destinations all over the country. Recipes are beautifully photographed with clear instructions. I enjoy the fact that recipes contain ingredients that are easy to find at my local grocery store.
From a design standpoint, I loved the whimsical graphics on the sidebar encouraging you to follow them on Twitter or sign up for their RSS feed. All in all, Hugging the Coast is a wonderful celebration of South Carolina.
