Green Veggies Green Face

Posted Apr 03 2009 11:17pm

green face Did you know that just half a cucumber a day can effect the color of your skin?

You’ve probably heard that carrots make your face look more tanned. Well, the same goes for green, blue and yellow fruits and vegetables. Except that the colors are less flattering.

If you eat too much green grapes, broccoli, spinach and cucumber your skin will get a green tint.

The blue berries and black berries is the strongest color. So might want to keep on eye on the amounts you eat unless you want a blueish face.

Banana and cantaloupe makes look yellow and ill.

Tomatoes, red bell pepper and strawberries can give you a warm, flushed, red look.

The trick here is not to eat less fruits and veggies but to balance the colors.
You especially need harmony between:

  • Green  - Red
  • Purple - Orange
  • Blue  - Yellow

When they say eat all colors of the rainbow they definitely have a point.
