I'll try this again...I had a nice long answer for you but it seems to have died in cyber space. Okay. Your daughter may be grinding/gnashing/clenching her teeth excessively at night. It is common for children to do this (it's called bruxism) but most kids outgrow this habit. Your daughter may be doing this excessively. Your dentist should be able to detect tooth fractures by a simple examination. It's possible he may suggest a mouth guard for her to wear at night. You don't want her to continue doing this as it can eventually lead to TMJ Disorder! She could possible be having a nutritional deficiency also, or maybe eating too much refined white flour, white sugar products. I'd start with a dental appointment and then go from there.
