One of my posts contained, completely incidentally and for no particular reason, a picture of, hmm, how do I phrase it, a young tango-coloured member of the ape family. Consequently, this post has had loads of hits due to people searching for “tango-coloured animal” and “the miniature ones of the previous variety”. I have cleverly disguised the actual search terms by replacing them with a synonymous equivalent. Bit long-winded, but what can you do? If I use the actual terms then this post will get loads of undeserved hits, and orange-animal-picture-hunting-people will find themselves short-changed. Anyway, that post has had more hits than any other post and has confirmed to me, firstly, that people are suckers for cutesy animals (who can blame them, I’m not averse myself) and, secondly, that my blog content is really just for me. If I want to be popular I’ll have to set up a cute animal blog. As it stands I write what I please when I please and that is a lovely feeling. If I’ve lured you here under false pretexts or misguided search terms then a fleeting visit it will have to be. Hello and Goodbye. At least you’ve boosted my hits.
I’ve got an appointment tomorrow. Not seen the OT for a month. Not exactly done my homework either so some last minute diarising tomorrow morning might be the ticket.
