When you have a blonde cutie like Will, Halloween costumes tend to be of the non-scary nature. How could my handsome fellow ever be dressed in something gruesome? I selected a cowboy theme for Will this year and Olivia OK'd it (yes, we're getting to the point where the elderly doting mom needs the endless advice from the more with-it daughter...sigh. I wish I knew as much as Olivia does ;)
Anyway, I came home with a cowboy hat and a trademark hankie to use as a neckerchief. Will thought the cowboy hat was OK, for a while. Later in the evening he turned up with the scary over-the-head mask that Mitchell used a couple of years ago. It sort of resembles the Geico caveman and that is what Mitchell dressed up as. When it was first pulled out this year and the kids started modelling it, Will wasn't very impressed and would admonish the wearer to stop! Now here was Will, brandishing the long-haired mask (but not daring to put it on). I reminded him he was going to be a cowboy and he said no...he was going to be scary! I replied, "naw, I think a nice cowboy would be better." "No!" said Will "I'm going to scare all the old ladies!" I don't know where he heard that, but I need to explain that the old ladies would be much more generous with the Halloween goodies in the cute cowboy outfit. Will's going to have to learn to work his natural talent for adorability for profit soon.
The camera cord is still a head-scratcher folks. When I find it, it will be a picture bonanza on here. (Like the way I stuck with the cowboy theme there?)
