Today you turn 8 years old! I can't believe it! Only 8 more years and you'll be old enough to DRIVE! That really scares me! :) We'll let daddy teach you how to do that, ok?!
Kam, I've been sitting here, thinking about what to write to you... you've changed in so many ways this year... I see you maturing so much! You're changing from a little boy into a more mature BIG boy! Your interests and needs are changing and it's so fun to watch!!
You are such a special kid! I love to watch your mind work. I love to hear what you're thinking about. I never know what you're going to say next, which always keeps me laughing because you usually end up surprising me! :) I hope you never stop telling me what's on your mind. I'm always here to listen to you and give advice when you need it... or just hear one of your stories. Those are my very favorite!
If I could give you one bit of advice for this year Kam, and really for your whole life, it would be "never stop seeking God". I know I say this a lot, but really, hold fast to that, my son. It will get you through anything... even nightmares about spiders.
