New line of clothing for Down syndrome

Posted Jan 11 2009 3:01pm 1 Comment
I wonder why I never posted about this; it's a PAIN to find pants and shirts for Christina. She is not at all heavy, but has the typical shorter arms and legs of T21 kids, so regular pants are out of the question. I have to buy off season capris, which up in Connecticut are too cold for her.
This website says they will be making clothing specifically for people with Down Syndrome. That would be awesome!

I also am having a tough time finding clothes for my DS child 8. She has short arms and legs a bit bigger in the waist. Not fat, but bigger. I totally get the Capri's, but with jeans I have to hem and I'm not very good at it. Did you come up with any solutions? I have briefly looked on the Internet to see if they make special clothes for kids with DS. I found one, but doesn't look like it is up and running. Any suggestions? Winter in the south is on its way and I'm trying to get prepared. Thanks for posting and your little one looks like an angel!
