10. Give me time to process, especially information given verbally



9. Be flexible, not rigid. Does it really matter how I do it as long as it gets done?

8. Help me know what to expect



7. Tell me what "to do" not "what not to do"



6. Using humor goes a long way



5. If you want me to do something a certain way, show me right from the beginning how you want me to do it



4. Don't take away my independence



3. Always give me choices, but only as many as I can handle



2. Take time to build rapport with me. I will most likely cooperate because of our relationship, not because you are an authority figure
