I am the executive director of the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, and I've studied the sociology of childhood happiness since I had my own two kids, now ages 5 and 7. I write this blog because I love to share science relevant to our cause (making the world a better place by supporting happiness, compassion, and emotional literacy in children) with parents.
