Dr. Heather,

I was on the UCLA tri team, in my 30's. The rule is 220 minus your age, right? Well, I often ran over 200, even then! I'll be 37 this month, and I had begun ramping up training for a tri last month. I STILL go 195+. I will admit that 'push myself' a bit, but what gives with the numbers? Are those simply guidelines, which don't cover ALL people? What can explain this?

P.S. What was your Oly time?

Hello Dr. Whiteboard,

I am a 56 yr old male that has undergone 5 failed cardioversions with the last attempt successful for about 2 min.  I was wondering why Radiofrequency ablation has not been tried?

 Thanks in advance

 Tommy
