sorry, my message got sent without being finished, I think... I have a posterior fossa arachnoid cyst approximately the size of a hacke sack ball sitting on or around my brain stem, scalloping away at my occipital bone. I have seen several nuerologists and a few neurosurgeons in the Bay Area and none of them are willing to attempt to drain or remove or do anything other than prescribe meds.

I am becoming more frustrated with my neurologist-Mayo clinic found a chiari 5mm, and I have had alot of symptoms for years...was told that the cerebellar tonsills are compressed, but told by a neurosurgeon at Mayo that I don't need surgery. asked my neurologist at home, if they are compressed, would you not want to decompress them? he agreed, and sent me to physical therapy where I was told I have fibromyalgia

I guess I'm too wordy. I NEVER had headaches (except for occasional menstrual) until I was rear ended.
Would you be willing to look at my MRI? Where are you actually located?
