It's national poetry day, do I need a better excuse to write today? Micheal Palin's New Europe has inspired me the last couple of weeks and highlighted just how little I know now and was ignorant of as a teenager. I feel like I'm still going round in circles, wanting to get on with things but wasting the days. The places Palin visits aren't hanging on to the past, they are building cities and lives. It makes me wonder what I'm waiting for?
