Sawtooth Relay

Today I will travel with a group of 11 other runners to venture into the beautiful Sawtooth mountains of Idaho.



We will sleep under the stars tonight.

This is our weather forcast:

Today: Scattered showers, then showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. East southeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely before midnight, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. South southeast wind between 3 and 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Highway 21 .36 miles
Highway 75 58.4 miles
Wood River Bike Path 2.6 miles
Total Relay Distance:61.9 miles
Relay Legs:12 legs
6 teammates run about 5 miles twice

We will run 2361 ft uphill to reach the Galena Summit and then descend 3201 ft.

The experience should be...hmmm I am not sure what it should or will be... bring it on!
