My Chihuahua started having seizures. They came on all of a sudden, And happened all night long. Turns out, after I took him in to the emergency vet, that it was his thyroid. His T4 Levels were off, and now he takes 1 tiny pill, half in the am, half in the pm, And poof! No More Seizures. The medicine affects him, in the fact that he drinks more water now. He wakes up at 2:30am every night whining for water. But other than that he is a Happy Camper, and no more seizures!!
