A Workout Thats Fun

Today I decided I needed more down time, so friend and I went up to the mountains and went for a hike. We did 2.5 miles up, so back down, we ended up doing 5 miles. We almost got lost coming back, but thank goodness for our keen eyes, and noticing that things just didn’t look the same, also the fact that the water was coming down when we came up, helped too. But what a fun workout! I was winded at times because we were both talking up a storm and my short little legs could hardly keep up with Amy! She said we were walking about 3.5 miles an hour..pretty fast for a mountain hike! The leaves were beautiful, the fresh air was amazing and hanging out with a friend was the best! If dumbells and cardio are NOT your thing, heck, why not go on a hike!
