Hey everyone!!! Sorry for the lack of blogging yesterday! When ‘m on vacay, I always try to find time to blog but it was a crrraaazzyy busy and insanely fun day :D
This is Megan and I, with wicked hangovers outside of Whole Foods:

(Note the enormous bottles of water)
Why were we hungover????
We got into O-town Thursday night at midnight, and then proceeded to drink orange cocktails and gab and giggle with my Aunt until 4am Friday morning. Usually, I’m an old woman and am in bed by 11 every night, so for me to actually stay up and hang was pretty fabulous :D
We slept through spin class and then went to Einstein’s for bfast.
Good grains bagel with hummus and a banana smile:

I also got a Bizzle- short soy sugarfree Cinnamon Dolce latte with no foam and an extra shot ;)

We hung out with my cousins for a while and tried to shake the nastiness we were feeling and then went to Planet Smoothie for a little snack.
The guy working made me something not on the menu—a kids’ size smoothie with vanilla protein powder and banana

It was perfect!
We then hit up the Premium Outlets for a day of glorious shopping.
I got very lucky in finding cute outfits and bought quite a few things!!! I love shopping in civilization… the only clothes store we have in V-town is Old Navy. Not that there’s anything wrong with Old Navy, but when it’s all you have, it gets a little old.
Since our hours of shopping helped us to work up a hefty appetite, we decided to hit up Whole Foods for lunch/snack.
I got the small container full of deliciousness from the hot bar:

Spilt pea soup with soy bacon:

Then we went to the Dr. Phillips YMCA for latin cardio. It was a little painful—we were still licking our wounds from the cocktail night and SUPERFULL from our Whole Foods feast, but I was so glad we went!
We managed to find our appetites to go to my favorite restaurant for dinner.
We got the yellowfill tuna tartare for an appetizer:

And shared the salmon salad:

I had the mango cheesecake mini dessert—I’m thinking this one is my favorite

It was an amazing day :D
I’ve had the opportunity to hang out with two very fabulous bloggers/friends today—and I will be posting a re-cap later tonight or tomorrow. It’s my aunt’s birthday and we’re taking her out to dinner and also going to Milennia Mall for some more shopping action!
Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend!
xoxo,
G
