At the risk of sounding super naive here, are all bootcamps basically the same? Does the term have some universal meaning in the way yoga or pilates? Does anyone know of a good bootcamp in the east bay?
Don't worry about being concerned with naivity, as not all bootcamps nor pilates, nor yoga classes are the same. The basic underlying premise, a 'tough, no-frills workout" is probably the 'common thread', but after that, the differences are as unique as the 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins. Best thing to do is either read the class/program description and/or talk to the instructor and/or observe the class before putting any money down or taking the class.
A bounce house bootcamp takes the ordinary and makes it upbeat to exhilaration.
Imagine a workout where you bounce and bounce and well...bounce. Great cardio workout, but I am not sure if one is in the east bay.
Sure, not all bootcamps are alike -- the leaders or gym make the attitude. And, it depends on what you like to do for a workout.
Have fun!
