Hey lovely bloggies :D Hope your weekend is just as fabulous as mine has been so far!!
Yesterday afternoon, we shopped like maniacs. We hit up the Prime Outlets and I definitely did some damage. I’m always sure to live it up here since we don’t have ANY of these stores in Valdosta.
For a snack, I had a trail mix bagel from Panera with cilantro hummus. It was a weird combo –cream cheese would have been better—but still very good, especially since we were starving from all of the shopping.

After Panera, we cheated on our dogs and went to a Puppy Store!!!

Look at this baby Viesa:

Pug babies:

It was so much fun to cuddle with the puppies and it was so hard to leave them there!! It took a lot for us to leave!
For dinner, we had Cafe 118 – a raw vegan restaurant owned by Matthew Kenney (raw chef genius) in which no food is cooked over 118 degrees.
Megan and I were beyond stoked to try it!
I ordered the lasagna, which I made in this post.. the restaurant version was topped with shitake mushrooms.

Megan had the Mexican chopped salad:

(so did Steph)
And Auntie got the vegetable Maki rolls:

I drank fresh local OJ:

And once again despised my meal. I have a rough time finding food in Orlando that I like ;)

For dessert, I chose the pumpkin tart:

Auntie had the banana almond butter cup ice cream that my friend Megan is famous for:

Steph had the mocha pudding, which was so decadent and incredible:

And Megan had the mango cheesecake:

It was so unbelievable that all of the food there was raw, organic, DELICIOUS and actually good for you. The only problem is that most of the menu items contained nuts as the base, which don’t digest too well. I guess my body’s not used to it, and (I’m sorry if this is TMI), but I saw all of the food again as I was hugging the toilet all night. I was one sick puppy.
Despite me being totally out of it from not getting enough sleep and being sick all night, we still went to do the Seasons 52 5.2k
Here’s Megan and I:

It was her first race EVER and she did amazingly :D
And all of the girls (minus my cousin Em who slept in)

I’m going to go ahead and say this wasn’t my best race ever. My last 5k time was 24:30, and I finished this 5k in 25:30. Considering the fact that I was up all night sick and didn’t have breakfast, I’m so proud of myself for finishing it.'
When the alarm went off this morning, I was seriously considering staying home, but I had already paid for the race and received my T-shirt. I couldn’t wear a shirt of lies ;)
Another awesome thing about the race is that I got to meet up with two blog girls: Meghann and Melissa
We hit up the farmer’s market after the race (I’ll show my purchases tomorrow), then came home to have some b-fast, which I was finally ready for since the dull burning in my stomach had started to go away.
Penaut butter, banana and Polaner oats:

We all took naps (and it was joyous) and now we’re about to get ingredients for the food tonight, since we’re having a little party :D
Hope your Saturday is wonderful!
See ya tomorrow,
G
